Google Chrome Gains New “Journeys” Feature and More Google recently shared an official blog post to announce the Journeys feature for Chrome on desktop. It is primarily a dedicated tab that contains a chronological and personalized timeline of previously-visited websites, grouped by topics. Users can now visit the Journeys page under History to explore their past activities on Chrome and visit other websites that might be relevant to them. They can also search for a related keyword and click on the “Resume your research” option to visit a site again that was left off previously even if this was weeks ago....

The decision comes based on feedback from Chrome’s enterprise customers in light of the global pandemic. The company says it will continue to “evaluate the conditions our enterprise customers are facing, and communicate any additional changes in the future.” Google points out that migrating to Windows 10 was part of the roadmap of many organizations this year. According to a Kantar study commissioned by Google Chrome Enterprise in the second quarter of this year, almost 21 percent of companies are in the process of migrating to Windows 10, while at least 1 percent have not even started the migration process....

The company is calling its offering “Google Stream” and marketing it as a technology that other companies can use to power their games or build a streaming platform much like its own. While Peloton is reportedly using the Stadia tech to power its fitness-focused games for exercising-bikes like “Lanebreak”, Bungie had plans to build its own cloud game-streaming platform like Stadia....
