Now, a month after release, when the game has also lost more than 75% of players on PC, CD Projekt’s co-founder Marcin Iwinski has issued a lengthy apology on video. He formally apologized on behalf of the company’s leadership, who took the decision to release the game in its initial bug-riddled state. The game has since received multiple hot-fixes to address the most pressing issues. Iwinski also asked gamers to not hold the game’s developers responsible for the state of Cyberpunk 2077 at launch....

Now, for those unaware, back in 2017, Apple teased a unique wireless charging mat that can wirelessly charge an iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods simultaneously. Caviar iPhone 13 Pro Digital Signature Series Caviar has released three models of the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max under its new Digital Signature series – QR Matrix, Black Card, and Golden Card. Dubbed “Continuous Search Navigation”, the feature essentially adds a dedicated bar underneath the URL bar in Chrome to display additional search results based on your current search. It lets you switch between Google searches with a single tap instead of going back to the search engine. Further, as 9to5Google notes, this feature is currently available in Chrome for Android v91.0.4472.120. It is, however, hidden behind an experimental Chrome flag that users need to enable manually....

The developers announced the delay through a tweet (same as last time), and are saying that the added delay is because they are optimising the game for 9 different platforms. As per the tweet, “The biggest challenge for us right now is shipping the game on current-gen, next-gen, and PC at the same time, which requires us to prepare and test 9 versions of it (Xbox One/X, compatibility on Xbox Series S/X, PS4/Pro, compatibility on PS5, PC, Stadia)… while working from home”...

Dark Sky for iOS Shut Down in 2022 Dark Sky updated its blog post earlier this week to clarify that the iOS app, website, and support for its API will be available until the end of 2022. That’s another way of saying that Dark Sky won’t work after 2022. “Support for the Dark Sky API service for existing customers will continue until the end of 2022. The iOS app and Dark Sky website will also be available until the end of 2022,” reads the update....

GroupWatch Disney+ Content with Friends or Family The GroupWatch feature was first spotted in the source code of the streaming service earlier last month. Although it was dubbed as “Watch Party” in the code, the actual name of this feature is “GroupWatch”, at least that is what Disney is calling it. So, the “GroupWatch” feature, as expected, will let you connect to seven of your friends, each with their own Disney+ accounts, remotely to watch a TV show or a movie together....

At the recent Tesla AI Day virtual event, Musk announced that his EV company Tesla is currently developing a bipedal, humanoid robot that will be able to perform boring, unsafe, and repetitive tasks for you. Aptly dubbed as the Tesla Bot, the robot will be 5 feet 8 inches tall and weigh around 56Kgs. Now, going into the technical details, not much is known about the Tesla Bot yet. But, Musk shared that the robot will come with 40 electromechanical actuators....

According to the BBC, the San Diego-based chip giant is said to be all set to introduce the game to GeForce Now in the coming weeks, enabling iPhone- and iPad users to play using any standard mobile web-browser, like Safari. The company is yet to announce any official timeframe for the launch, but the report claims that it might happen ‘before the winter holidays’. It is worth noting that Nvidia had earlier revealed that it is looking to bring GeForce Now to the web on both desktops and mobile platforms, enabling folks to access the service using any WebRTC-compliant browser on any platform....

According to a new Chrome Story report, Google is working on an experimental flag to enable scrolling screenshots for Chrome. “Chrome Share Long Screenshots: Enables UI to edit and share long screenshots on Android,” reads the flag’s description. Once the feature goes live, you will be able to capture, edit, and share scrolling screenshots from Chrome browser. Unfortunately, the flag is not live even in the Canary channel of Chrome yet....

Coming to the support for heart and respiratory rate monitoring, both of these features will work using just the cameras at the front and back of your smartphone. You do not require any other specialized hardware for this to work. For heart rate monitoring, all you need to do is place your finger on the back camera. You need to open the Google Fit app and tap the heart-rate card to initiate the process....

Pixel 5 Starting off with the flagship (of sorts), the Pixel 5 is almost exactly what we expected it to be. It comes with a fresh new, design with a punch hole camera up front for selfies. There’s a 6-inch 2340×1080 pixel display with 90Hz refresh rate and finally, the Pixel has a full-screen design with no forehead or chin. Under the hood, the Pixel 5 is running on the Snapdragon 765G processor, which means it isn’t really trying to compete against flagship offerings from other Android OEMs, or the iPhones of the world....

Pixel 6 and 6 Pro Leaked Specifications According to the report, the Pixel 6 will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, while the Pixel 6 Pro may feature a 6.71-inch plastic OLED display. Notably, this is slightly larger than the previously rumored 6.67-inch display for the Pro variant. Prosser’s report reiterates the presence of Google’s custom chipset. Moreover, he claims that the regular Pixel 6 could have 8GB of RAM and 128/ 256GB of storage....

Fast Pair Could Come to Wear OS! According to a recent report by 9to5Google, Google recently updated the Google Play System Updates changelog, adding a new entry for Fast Pair on Wear OS under the “Device Connections” section. The company provided the following definition for the feature: “Fast Pair on Wear OS to allows previously paired headphones to be discovered and connected to wearables.” In simpler terms, the feature will let you instantly connect your Wear OS-based smartwatch to any previously-connected Bluetooth earphones....

Dubbed as Super-Resolution via Repeated Refinements (SR3) and Cascaded Diffusion Models (CDM), the two new technologies were recently developed by Google Research’s Brain Team. The Mountain View giant recently published an in-depth blog post on its AI forum, detailing both technologies. It is similar to the previous AI algorithm that we saw researchers at the Duke University of North Carolina develop earlier this year. Now, starting with the SR3 model, it is essentially a super-resolution diffusion model that can convert low-resolution images into high-res ones from pure noise....

The advertisement, shared by u/DominusLux on Reddit (via 9to5Google), showcases the new branding and the logo. From the looks of it, it seems to be a hybrid edition of the Google Voice app’s logo, without the Wi-Fi symbol, of course. Much like Google’s recent icon revamps, the redesigned icon follows the company’s red, green, yellow, and blue color scheme. In an official blog post announcing the rollout, Google said that the AI-based feature will start looking for patterns as a user starts typing the first names in a column. If the software does spot a pattern, “it will generate the corresponding formula, and then autocomplete the rest of the column for you”. The GIF below best illustrates the new feature, and it looks incredibly promising. In addition to using data that’s already in the sheet, Smart Fill will also use data from Google’s Knowledge Graph, thereby using public data to further guess your next entry, especially for names of countries and cities....
