Android 13 Is Now Available! Google has started rolling out Android 13 to the Pixel 6, the Pixel 6 Pro, the Pixel 6a, the Pixel 5, the Pixel 5a, the Pixel 4, the Pixel 4 XL, and the Pixel 4a (both 4G and 5G). In addition, it is now a part of AOSP (Android Open Source Project), which means its source code is now open to third parties. It is also revealed that Android 13 will hit phones from OEMs like Samsung, HMD Global, Asus, iQOO, Motorola, Oppo, Xiaomi, Realme, Vivo, Sharp, Sony, Tecno, and more later this year....

Now, for those unaware, the whole anti-trust lawsuit started when Epic Games violated Apple’s App Store policies by offering its Fortnite players to buy V-bucks (Fortnite’s in-game currency) through its own payment system instead of Apple’s. Following this violation, Apple removed Fortnite from its App Store, which in turn led Epic to file the lawsuit in 2020. Since then, a lot has escalated between the two tech giants, with Apple terminating Epic’s developer account and then Epic getting back at Apple....

The Patent, “Monitoring a user of a head-wearable electronic device”, hints at a technology that Apple might integrate into their upcoming wearable device. This tech will enable an Apple Glass user to interact with their iPhones using head gestures, instead of touching or through voice. “[Current device control] often requires the user to interact with the sensing components actively, such as via touch or speech,” reads the patent. So, Apple wants to replace these fundamental ways of interacting with iPhones or any of its mobile devices with gestures and light-pattern detection....
