HBO Max released the first teaser of the Harry Potter reunion on 16 November 2021, which created a wave among fans about the upcoming holiday treat. The teaser mostly showed clips from all the Harry Potter movies while Hedwig’s theme played in the background.
A teaser trailer was then released on 6 December 2021, which started by showing the daily prophet with news titled “Hogwarts Welcomes Back Alumni.” We can also see various cast members receiving invitations, which looks similar to the Hogwart’s acceptance letter we saw in the first Harry Potter movie. In contrast to the first teaser trailer, this video showed us a glimpse of what to expect from the reunion special.
Lastly, HBO Max released a full-fledged trailer on 20 December 2021. It showed all the cast members joining the party, including Daniel, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Tom Felton, Helena Carter, and many more. They appear to enjoy a unique and fancy welcome to the set and discuss their time through the years of making the eight movies.
You can sense how emotional this special will be from Emma’s dialogue from the trailer. “When things get really dark and times get really hard, there is something about Harry Potter that makes life richer,” she said.
